On July 16, 2020, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin met with the UNDP Resident Representative in Tajikistan Ms. Pratibha Mehta.
The meeting discussed the implementation of a set of measures of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to prevent or reduce the economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic and further cooperation with development partners, in particular the UN Development Program, the results of the Medium-Term Development Program for 2016-2020. They discussed the medium-term development of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025 and the draft "State Program for the Development of Export of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025", the process of improving the system of modeling and macroeconomic forecasting.
